How iGlam Lab Built a Loyalty Program

A lash and beauty salon in Jacksonville, Florida, that brought back its loyalty program after switching booking systems — using digital wallet cards instead of an integrated POS solution

iGlam Lash & Beauty is a lash and brow salon in Jacksonville, Florida, with six stylists, two support team members, and owner Charnaé Wynn. They ran a loyalty program through Square from 2019 to 2022 — until they switched booking systems.

Once we switched booking sites, the new processor did not offer a loyalty program. I knew we would never get one. So we removed the loyalty program and added something that we sell, which are pretty much packages, where people can get discounts on lashes. But I really didn't like that method, only because it pretty much offered a discount for nothing.

Finding a Digital Alternative

Charnaé searched online for a solution that wouldn't mean going back to paper punch cards.

I never heard of a digital wallet loyalty card, but it made sense when I found it. I thought that would be a good fit for our customers.

She set up a points system in Passtastic tied to client spending — similar to how their Square program worked. Clients earn "glam points" every time they book or buy, with ten reward tiers ranging from a $5 retail credit at 100 points to a free Lash Fill at 800 and $100 account credit at 1,000.

How It Works Day to Day

New customers enroll by scanning a QR code at the front desk. After that, earning points happens at checkout.

The customers are actually pretty good at remembering to get their points when they leave, and if not, the front desk will ask them — are you a part of our rewards program?

When an existing member walks into the salon, a notification pops up on their phone reminding them to redeem points.

Clients Were Happy to Have It Back

The clients were really glad that we brought it back. They use it, they definitely want their points, and they redeem their points.

Some older clients need a bit of help navigating the wallet, but most picked it up quickly. Beyond individual satisfaction, the program helps build loyalty to the iGlam brand itself.

What She Would Tell Other Businesses

It's a good program if you don't have a loyalty system integrated into your booking system. I absolutely would tell them to use this as an option just because of the digital wallet and not having to use a punch card.

Who This Is For

Passtastic works especially well for:

Beauty salons and lash studios that lost their loyalty program after switching booking or POS systemsMulti-staff businesses looking to build brand loyalty with digital points cardsService businesses using Mangomint, Acuity, or other booking tools without built-in loyaltySalons that want a familiar rewards experience for clients without going back to paper cards

If you run a beauty salon or lash studio and your booking system doesn't offer loyalty, this is how iGlam Lab brought their rewards program back — digital wallet cards, a QR code at checkout, and points managed by the front desk team.
