Your customers' WhatsApp, next to their loyalty card.

Once Meta approves Passtastic, you'll connect your WhatsApp Business number, answer customers' messages with their card beside the chat, and send offers on WhatsApp to the customers who agreed. You'll keep your number and your WhatsApp Business app.

WhatsApp (Meta) charges your business directly. Passtastic adds no fee.

On their phone

What your customers get.

01

Offers in the app they already use

Offers, birthday wishes and "we miss you" notes arrive on WhatsApp, only for customers who said yes.

02

Answers from a real person

Customers write to your number as usual. You reply from your phone or from Passtastic, and the chat is the same in both.

03

One message, not two

A customer who agreed to WhatsApp gets an offer there instead of the wallet notification or SMS, never both.

In your shop

Chats and offers in one place.

Your team keeps using WhatsApp the way it does today. Passtastic adds the customer's card next to every chat.

Messages, with the card beside

A new Messages item in the menu lists your WhatsApp chats. Each one shows the customer's stamps, points or level and their last visit.

Reply freely for 24 hours

Within 24 hours of a customer's last message you can write whatever you like. After that you pick one of four message types WhatsApp has approved: Offer, We miss you, Reward ready or Card update.

Offers in a few clicks

In Customers, select who should get it, click Message, tick WhatsApp and choose a message type. You see how many will get it on WhatsApp before you send.

Setup

Set up in 3 steps.

01

Connect your number

In Settings, open WhatsApp, click Connect WhatsApp, log in with Facebook and scan the QR code with your WhatsApp Business app.

02

Let customers say yes

Once you connect, your join form shows a WhatsApp checkbox by itself, next to the phone number. You can also invite your members from Settings. A customer's yes is what lets you send offers.

03

Reply and send

Answer chats in Messages. Send offers from Customers, or switch on Also send on WhatsApp in your automatic campaigns.

The practical answers

The concerns we hear most.

When can I connect?

WhatsApp opens once Meta finishes approving Passtastic. This page and the guide switch to the present tense the day it does.

Do I keep my number and my app?

Yes. You keep your number and keep using the WhatsApp Business app, version 2.24.17 or newer. Chats stay in sync both ways, and your recent history, up to 180 days, is imported once when you connect.

Who pays for WhatsApp?

WhatsApp (Meta) charges your business directly, and Passtastic adds nothing. Replies within 24 hours of a customer's last message are free, up to 1,000 per number a month. Offers and automatic messages are charged per message by Meta, depending on the country.

Do customers have to agree?

Yes, WhatsApp requires it. They agree with a checkbox on your join form, or by tapping the invite and sending the ready message. If you already have their permission, for example from a paper form, you confirm it once in Settings.

No Passtastic fee for WhatsApp.
WhatsApp is part of every plan. Meta bills your business directly: replies within 24 hours are free up to 1,000 per number a month, and offers are charged per message.

Questions

WhatsApp and Passtastic, answered.

Do I keep my WhatsApp number?+

Yes. You connect the number you already use with the WhatsApp Business app and keep using the app on your phone. Chats stay in sync both ways. Your recent history, up to 180 days, is imported once when you connect. One number per business for now.

Who pays for the messages?+

WhatsApp (Meta) bills your business directly, so you add a payment method in WhatsApp Manager. Passtastic shows a banner with Open WhatsApp Manager if it is missing. Replies within 24 hours of the customer's last message are free up to 1,000 per number a month. Offers and automatic messages are charged per message, depending on the country. Passtastic adds no charge.

Do my customers have to agree to get offers?+

Yes, WhatsApp requires it. Customers agree with a checkbox on your join form, or by tapping an invite in their wallet card and sending the ready message, which counts once every 30 days. If you already have their permission, for example on a paper signup form, you can confirm it for them in Settings.

What if a customer replies STOP?+

They stop getting offers from you. Passtastic understands STOP in all eight languages we support. A customer who blocks your number does not get offers either.

Can I reply to customers from Passtastic?+

Yes. In Messages you see every chat with the customer's card beside it. Within 24 hours of their last message you write freely. After that you pick a message type WhatsApp has approved. Photos and voice messages show as open in WhatsApp.

Does it work with my loyalty card?+

Yes. A chat shows the customer's stamps, points or level next to it, a number that is not a member yet can get a join link, and every message you send, by wallet card, SMS or WhatsApp, appears in that customer's Messages tab, with Delivered and Read for WhatsApp.

Your customers' chats,
next to their cards.

Once WhatsApp opens, you'll answer chats in Messages and send offers to the customers who agreed.
