Your customers' Messenger chats, next to their loyalty card.
Once Meta approves Passtastic, you'll connect your Facebook Page and answer customers' Messenger messages in one Inbox for all your chats, with their card beside the chat.
It will be part of the Bring customers back pack at no extra cost, and included in your 14-day free trial once it opens. Already on one of our earlier plans? It will be included.
What your customers get.
Answers where they already write
Customers message you on Messenger like always, and the answer comes back there.
A reply from a real person
You or your team answer, from the Messenger app, your Page inbox or Passtastic. The chat is the same everywhere.
Nothing they didn't ask for
You reply to people who wrote to you first. No offers or automatic messages go out on Messenger.
Your Messenger chats in one place.
Your team keeps answering the way it does today. Passtastic puts the chats in the Inbox and, once you link one, the customer's card beside it.
One inbox for all your chats
A chat from Messenger appears in the Inbox, marked with its channel, next to your WhatsApp chats.
Reply freely for 24 hours
Within 24 hours of a customer's last message you can write whatever you like. After that, you answer in the Messenger app or your Page inbox.
Link a chat to a customer
Messenger doesn't share a phone number, so you link a chat to a customer yourself. The customer's card then sits beside the chat.
Set up in 3 steps.
Connect Messenger
In Settings, open Messaging channels, click Connect Messenger, log in with Facebook and choose your Page with Connect this Page.
Allow messages
Allow Passtastic to manage your messages in the window Meta shows. Replies you send in the Messenger app or your Page inbox appear in Passtastic too.
Reply and link
Answer chats in the Inbox. To see a customer's card beside a chat, click Link to customer and pick them.
The concerns we hear most.
When can I connect?
Messenger opens once Meta approves it. WhatsApp is already available.
What do I need?
A Facebook Page that you manage. You log in with Facebook and choose the Page; owners and admins can connect it.
Can I send offers there?
No. On Messenger you reply to people who wrote to you first. Offers go by wallet notification or SMS, and by WhatsApp.
How is a chat matched to a customer?
Messenger doesn't give us a phone number, so Passtastic can't match a chat by itself. You click Link to customer and pick the customer.
Messenger and Passtastic, answered.
What do I need to connect Messenger?+
A Facebook Page that you manage. You log in with Facebook and choose the Page; owners and admins can connect it.
Can I send offers on Messenger?+
No. Messenger is for replying to people who wrote to you first, so there are no offers, campaigns or automatic messages there. Offers go by wallet notification or SMS, and by WhatsApp.
How long can I reply?+
For 24 hours after the customer's last message you can write freely. After that, answer in the Messenger app or your Page inbox.
Do replies from the Messenger app or your Page inbox show up in Passtastic?+
Yes. A reply you send in the Messenger app or your Page inbox appears in the same chat in Passtastic.
How is a chat matched to a customer?+
Messenger doesn't give us a phone number, so you link a chat to a customer yourself: open the chat, click Link to customer, search by name, email or phone and pick them. Unlink undoes it, and the chat stays in the Inbox.
Who can connect it?+
An owner or an admin can connect and disconnect Messenger. Editors can reply and viewers can read. Disconnecting stops new messages from appearing, and your chats so far stay in Passtastic.
