Your customers are already in Odoo
When someone joins your program, Passtastic adds them to your Odoo contacts: name, email, phone. At the register your team searches once and puts them on the ticket, instead of typing a new customer in with a queue behind them.
Their card updates in seconds
The wallet card on their phone shows the new stamp or points balance moments after the sale is paid, so nobody has to ask what they are owed.
Earned rewards are on the register
A full stamp card, an item from your points catalogue, a perk that comes with the customer's level: with the customer on the ticket, your staff pick the reward on the sale and it comes off, without leaving Odoo.

Put the customer on the ticket
Search by name in Odoo and add the customer to the sale before taking payment. They are normally already there, because Passtastic puts your members into your Odoo contacts. With a barcode scanner at the register, staff can scan the wallet card instead of typing. A sale with nobody on it earns nothing.
The stamp or points post in seconds
Stamp cards earn one stamp per paid sale, or one per qualifying item if you set it up that way. Points and level cards earn by the points rule on the card, for example one point per euro.
Give the reward on the sale
Luca has 300 points and asks for the jar of pesto. Your cashier picks it from the rewards already on the sale and it comes off the bill. Campaign offers are different: a birthday coffee or a “we miss you” treat is confirmed by scanning the customer's card in the Passtastic Scanner app, then handed over at the counter.

Connect your Odoo
Give Passtastic its own Odoo user with Point of Sale: User and Contacts access, create a persistent API key under Account Security, then paste your Odoo address, database name, that login and the key. One published points, level or stamp card is all you need first.
Choose which registers earn
You get one row per register in your Odoo. Pick the shop each one stands in and switch earning on for the registers that should count. A register that earns uses one scan point, and every shop with an earning register includes one staff scanner free.
Choose which programs earn
Switch on the points, level and stamp cards that should earn, decide whether every sale counts or only sales with certain product categories, then close and reopen each register once so the rewards appear on it.

Which Odoo can connect?
Odoo 17, 18 or 19 with Point of Sale. Odoo.sh, on-premise and Community databases work, and so does Odoo Online on the Custom plan. Odoo Online's Standard plan has no external API at all, so nothing can connect to it — if that is your plan you would have to move to Custom or Odoo.sh first. Worth checking before you sign up.
Will my past sales be credited?
No. Earning starts the moment you connect, so sales already sitting in your Odoo are not credited backwards. Everything rung up from then on earns.
Do I need a developer to connect?
No. You create one user in Odoo, give it an API key, and paste four details into Passtastic. It takes a few minutes and there is nothing to install.
Will this slow down my line?
Nothing changes at the register. The only addition is putting the customer on the ticket before taking payment, and with a barcode scanner that is one beep.
Does a register use up my scanner allowance?
A register that earns uses one scan point, the same allowance your staff scanners draw from: three on Single Location, nine on Multi-Location, thirty on Groups & Brands. Every shop with an earning register includes one staff scanner free, so switching a register off does not always make that number drop.

Which card types work with Odoo?＋
Points, level and stamp cards. Points and level cards earn by the points rule attached to the card, for example one point per euro; stamp cards earn one stamp per paid sale, or one per qualifying item if you choose that. Coupons, bundles and memberships cannot earn from Odoo sales.
Do I have to add my customers to Odoo myself?＋
No. Everyone who joins your program lands in your Odoo contacts on their own, and the members you already had are filled in over the following days. Somebody Odoo already has under the same email or phone is linked, not duplicated. The one exception is a member who gave neither an email address nor a phone number: there is nothing for staff to search for, so those customers are served the way they always were, by scanning their card. You can switch the whole thing off at any time.
What exactly do you write into my Odoo?＋
Four kinds of thing, all of them loyalty plumbing. Your members as contacts — name, email and phone, each with a Passtastic reference code so we can match them back. Your loyalty programs and their rewards, for the programs you switched on, plus one loyalty card record per member holding the code that is on their wallet card. A barcode rule called Passtastic pass, so a register can read a wallet card. And an automation rule on paid orders, with the webhook action it needs, so we know the moment a sale is paid. We do not touch your products, your prices, your sales, or any contact who is not one of your loyalty members, and removing a member in Passtastic never deletes their Odoo contact: it is your address book.
Do refunds take stamps and points back?＋
Yes, in proportion to what was refunded: refund half the ticket and half the points go. A card never drops below zero, so if the customer has already spent them it stops there. You can switch it off with Take points back on refunds on your Odoo page in Passtastic.
Can my staff still scan the card — won't that give points twice?＋
They can, and for campaign offers they have to. But a scan and a sale count separately, so if staff both scan the card and put the customer on the same sale, the customer is credited twice. Pick one way of earning at the counter — the sale, once Odoo is connected — and scan the card only for campaign offers and for customers who are not in your Odoo contacts.
What if the customer is not on the ticket?＋
That sale earns nothing, and it cannot be attached to them afterwards. If your staff notice while the customer is still there, a quick scan of their card fixes it; later on, you can add the stamp or the points by hand from the Customers page in your dashboard.
What can staff give at the register?＋
Three things, all of them already earned: the reward on a full stamp card, an item from your points catalogue, and a perk that comes with the customer's level. A campaign offer — a birthday free coffee, a we-miss-you treat — cannot be claimed at the register; staff confirm those by scanning the customer's card and hand them over at the counter.
