Add the Booking Button to Your Website, Google and Instagram
Guests look for you on Google and Instagram first. Put your booking link there and they can book in one tap, without the call. Open Bookings, then the Share tab: everything below is on that page, for each shop. It shows a phone preview of your booking page, a checklist of places to put the link, and a table card to print.
Your booking link
Next to the preview of your booking page is your Booking link. Copy link copies it and Open the page opens the page as a guest sees it. Use the link of the shop the guest wants to book, so they land on the right shop.
The checklist
Under the link, each place guests might find you is a row: Google Business Profile, Instagram, Your website, WhatsApp, Email for your signature, and Facebook. Each row says what to do in a line or two and has a one-tap Copy. When you have done one, press Mark as done to tick it. The tick is saved for the shop, so the whole team sees what is left. Viewers see the ticks but cannot set them.
- WhatsApp gives you a ready Reply to save as a quick reply.
- Email gives you a ready Signature line for your email signature.
Guests find you in Google Search and Maps through your Google Business Profile.
1. Open your business in Google (search for your restaurant while signed in to the account that manages it, or open Google Business Profile). 2. Choose Edit profile and find the section for bookings or reservations. Google moves this screen around, and it may be called Bookings, Reservations or Booking links. 3. Paste your booking link as the reservation or booking link and save. 4. Google reviews the change. It usually appears within a few days.
Google may already show a booking button from another tool. If you keep it, the link from your own page is the one that costs you nothing per guest.
1. In the Instagram app, open Edit profile. 2. Paste your booking link into Links, or use it as the website link. 3. Say what it is: "Book a table" in your bio.
For stories, add a Link sticker with the same address.
On your Facebook page, choose Add a button and pick Book Now (or Book with you). Paste your booking link.
Your website
Under Your website there are two codes:
- Embed code puts the booking form on your page. Press Copy on that row and paste it into an embed or custom HTML block where the form should appear.
- Button code adds a simple Book a table button. Press Copy on that row and paste it the same way.
Most website builders (Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Webflow) have an embed or HTML block. The form uses your logo and colours.
Flyers, menus and tables
The Table card is a printable card in your colours with the QR code. Click Download PNG or Print and put it on tables, menus or the door. Guests scan it and land on your booking page. If you want only the code for your own design, use Plain QR.
Test it
Open your link on your phone and make a booking as a guest. You see it appear on Today, and you get the confirmation email. Then use Cancel to remove the test.
If something is wrong, check that Taking bookings is on in Settings and that the shop has a service on that day. Setup steps are in setting up table bookings.
What your guest sees
The booking page shows your venue's photo, logo and colours. It asks one question at a time, with a progress line at the top: How many of you?, then When?, then a time on that day, then Who's coming?. The phone field has a country picker, so numbers come in the right format.
When they book, the confirmation shows a ticket with Add to calendar and Change or cancel. Under the ticket is your loyalty card with Get the Coffee Club card. That button opens the sign-up page, where the guest accepts the terms; nothing is signed up until they do.
