How to Change Your Card's Language
Three things, three languages
Passtastic uses language in three places. Each works a little differently.
1. Your dashboard
This is the language you see when you log in — menus, buttons, and settings.
How to change it:
1. Open Account from the sidebar.
2. Scroll down to Language Settings.
3. Select your preferred language from the dropdown.
The dashboard is available in: English, Deutsch, Español, Italiano, Português, Nederlands, Polski, Українська.
2. The sign-up page your customers see
When a customer opens your card link, the sign-up page automatically shows in their browser's language. If their language isn't supported, it falls back to English.
Customers can also manually switch the language on the sign-up page using the language dropdown.
The sign-up page supports more languages than the dashboard: English, Deutsch, Français, Italiano, العربية, Türkçe, Español, Português, Nederlands, Polski, Українська.
3. The card in Apple or Google Wallet
The wallet card automatically translates system labels (like "Points", "Stamps", "Level", "Member", "Expires") based on the customer's device language. You don't need to do anything — Passtastic includes translations for all 11 supported languages in every card.
Custom text that you type yourself — like your business name, reward description, or offer details — stays exactly as you entered it and is not automatically translated.
What gets auto-translated:
- Field labels (Points, Stamps, Level, Balance, Member, Expires)
- Barcode alt text ("Scan to validate")
- System-generated status text
What stays in your language:
- Business name
- Reward descriptions
- Custom offer text
- Any text you type manually in the card creator
