Recurring Offers Have Moved to Included Benefits

If you're looking for the old Recurring offer section on the Setup tab — the toggle for a single standing perk like "one free coffee every day" — it's been replaced by Included benefits, a more flexible tool that lists as many perks as your card includes, not just one.

What changed

The old Recurring offer job let you configure exactly one repeating perk, with its own on/off toggle and a fixed set of messages. Included benefits does everything that did, plus:

  • Any number of benefits on one card, not just one
  • Three ways a benefit can work: One time (used a set number of times, ever), Repeats (resets on a schedule you choose), and Always included (a standing perk with nothing to count, like a permanent discount)
  • The same reset timezone and "used up" message behavior you had before

See Included Benefits: What Comes With Your Card for the full guide.

If you already had a recurring offer set up

Nothing breaks. Your existing perk keeps working exactly as it did — same wallet pass message, same reset schedule — until you open Setup → Included benefits. The first time you do, you'll see it already there as the first row, pre-filled with its name and schedule. Click Save changes once to finish moving it over; if you don't touch anything, it just keeps running as before.

Common questions

Do I have to migrate?
No. If you never open Included benefits, your existing recurring offer keeps working unchanged.
Will my customers notice anything different?
Not at the counter — scanning and redeeming work exactly the same, and your existing quotas and reset schedule carry over untouched. The wallet pass itself does change, though: your recurring offer's message used to show right on the front of the card; after migrating, the benefit moves to its own line on the back of the card with an automatic status like "1 of 2 left this month" instead of your custom wording. The message you wrote for when it's used up does carry over — that's the one custom line Included benefits keeps.
Can I still only have one perk if that's all I need?
Yes. Add one benefit with the Repeats cadence and it behaves exactly like the old recurring offer.
Where did "Offer name," "On the card," and "Staff sees — available" go?
They're now computed automatically. "Offer name" is now the Benefit name field, and the pass and scanner both show a state line generated from the benefit's cadence and what's left (e.g. "1 of 2 left this month") — there's nothing extra to write for those states. Only the "used up" message stays customizable, under Advanced → Staff sees when used up.
Why don't I see this on my stamp card?
Included benefits — like the recurring offer before it — is built for membership and simple loyalty cards. Stamp, points, level, and coupon cards already have their own reward mechanics.
