Your Shoper Loyalty Programme

How Passtastic works with your Shoper shop

You installed Passtastic from the Shoper App Store (in your Shoper admin: Aplikacje i integracje → Katalog aplikacji), so your loyalty card and your shop are already linked. There is nothing to connect. To open Passtastic later, go to Aplikacje i integracje → Zainstalowane aplikacje in your Shoper admin and open Passtastic from there.

Here is the idea. Every order in your shop earns points on your customer's wallet card (Apple Wallet or Google Wallet). When a customer has enough points, they pick a reward and get a single-use code to type in your shop's basket. Passtastic keeps the balance; Shoper's own loyalty module stays switched on but out of the way (see "Finish setup in Shoper" below).

There is one loyalty programme per Shoper shop. All your shop's customers share the same card.

Finish setup in Shoper

Passtastic keeps points in step with the loyalty module in your Shoper admin. A few switches there have to be set once, and Passtastic can't change them for you. Open Passtastic's Shoper page: it shows this as a checklist.

1. Open Marketing → Program lojalnościowy and switch the module on. 2. Untick Zakupy w sklepie, Zapis do newslettera and Dodanie opinii o produkcie, so Shoper doesn't award points for them. Passtastic awards points for orders. 3. Untick Włącz wiadomość informującą o zmianie liczby punktów. It is ticked by default and would email your members every time Passtastic updates their points. 4. Set the exchange mode to wymiana tymczasowo nieaktywna. Customers spend points only through reward codes from Passtastic.

Then click Check again on the Passtastic page. It reads the module status from Shoper and shows when it last checked.

Import customers and their points

Your shop already has customers, and many already have points. Bring them in so nobody starts from zero. Click Import customers and points on the Passtastic Shoper page (available once the first steps are done).

  • Before you start, you see how many customers your shop has, how many of them have points and the total.
  • Registered customers keep their points: their Shoper points become their opening balance in Passtastic.
  • Nobody gets a message. The import is silent.
  • You can run it again later: customers already imported are skipped, and erased customers stay out.

How buyers earn

Customers earn points on orders from your online shop.

  • The rate is yours. On the Shoper page, under Earning on online orders, you set 1 point for every ___ zł spent online and, if you like, At most ___ points per order (leave it empty for no limit).
  • Shipping never earns. Only the goods count.
  • Paid, or shipped cash on delivery. An order earns once it is paid, or once it has shipped when the customer pays on delivery.
  • Cancellations and returns take points back. If an order is cancelled or returned, the points it earned are removed again, and a balance never goes below zero.

Every buyer is a member, quietly

Every buyer who places an order joins your programme automatically, with their points waiting for them. Nothing is sent to them until they decide to add the card to their wallet. There is no sign-up form and no consent screen to click through.

"Add to Wallet" after an order

On the order confirmation page, buyers see Add to Wallet. One tap puts your card on their phone, with the points from that order already on it. The card shows their balance and keeps it up to date.

Registered customers vs guests

  • Registered customers also see their points in their account in your shop, on Shoper's own account page.
  • Guests (buyers without a Shoper account) see their points only in Passtastic: on the wallet card and on their reward page. Shoper's account page shows points only to registered customers.

Both kinds earn and redeem in exactly the same way.

Rewards online

Customers redeem points from the card itself:

1. They open Get your reward on the wallet card. 2. They pick one of your rewards. They only see rewards they have enough points for. 3. They get a single-use code, valid for 30 days, and the points are deducted. 4. They type the code in the basket of your shop to get the discount.

A code can be used once. A code you don't use expires after 30 days, and the points go back to the card. The page also lists the codes the customer already has, with their status (valid until, used, expired).

For a reward to work online, it needs a value in złoty or percent. Fill in Discount the customer gets online (in The reward when you create the programme, or on the programme's Setup tab under Points & reward) and choose zł off or % off. Until it's set, Get your reward shows no rewards.

Rewards in your shop

Rewards that aren't a basket discount (a free coffee, a gift) are redeemed at the counter: staff scan the customer's card with the Passtastic scanner app and hand over the reward, and the points are deducted.

Come-back messages

Passtastic can bring customers back on its own. These messages are sent automatically, to customers who have added the card to their wallet:

  • Birthday message: included on every package.
  • Close to a reward: a nudge when a customer is nearly there. From Multi-Location up.
  • Win-back: a message to a customer who hasn't ordered in a while. From Multi-Location up.

On Single Location you get the birthday message; the other two come with Multi-Location and Groups & Brands. See Messages and Campaigns (Automated Notifications) for how to edit them.

A message reaches a customer only if they saved the card. That is why the "Add to Wallet" button on the order confirmation matters.

"Add new members to your Shoper customer list"

On the Shoper page, under Earning on online orders, you'll find the switch Add new members to your Shoper customer list.

  • On: members appear in your Shoper customer list, and staff find them there at the counter.
  • Off: members are matched to your Shoper customers by email only.

Warnings

If Shoper's own loyalty switches get turned back on later, the Passtastic page shows a warning with what to fix:

  • Shoper gives its own points on orders again: customers would earn twice. Untick Zakupy w sklepie under Marketing → Program lojalnościowy.
  • Shoper's exchange is switched back on: customers could spend points outside Passtastic. Set exchange to wymiana tymczasowo nieaktywna again.

Your results

The Shoper page shows, for the last 30 days, how many of your online orders came from card holders, how many of those were repeat orders and the revenue from card holders compared with all your orders. Until the first paid order it says so.

Customers you can't delete

A customer who came from your Shoper shop belongs to your shop, so Passtastic won't plain-delete them. The one way to remove them here is to erase them (an admin-only action), which clears your Passtastic copy. The customer still exists in Shoper, so erase them there too if you want them gone completely.

For the same reason the linked card can't be deleted while the app is installed.

Packages and billing

Shoper bills Passtastic. The charge appears on your Shoper invoice, not from Passtastic. There are three packages, the same as our standard plans (prices are net, per month):

  • Single Location, 74 PLN a month: one location, 3 scanners and the birthday message.
  • Multi-Location, 186 PLN a month: up to 3 locations and 9 scanners, plus all the automatic messages.
  • Groups & Brands, 599 PLN a month: up to 10 locations and 30 scanners.

You can see your package under Settings → Billing & plan in Passtastic. To change it, open Aplikacje i integracje → Zainstalowane aplikacje in your Shoper admin.

If the subscription ends: your customers' cards keep working and stay in their wallets, and balances are kept. Your Passtastic dashboard becomes read-only, and you can still open it from the Shoper admin (Aplikacje i integracje → Zainstalowane aplikacje).

If you uninstall Passtastic: the same applies to your customers and their balances, which are kept. The app disappears from the Shoper admin, so you can't open it from there any more. To get back in, install it again from Aplikacje i integracje → Katalog aplikacji and it picks up where you left off.
