Notifications: the bell in the top bar

The bell at the top of every screen collects what's new for your business and what you might want to do next. A red number on it means you have unread notifications.

Open your notifications

1. Click the bell in the top bar (on your phone, it's at the top right). 2. Each notification shows what it's about (Billing, News, Ask or Tip), a short message and a button that takes you where you need to go. 3. Click See all to open the full list.

The most important unread notification also appears as a card at the top of your Home screen.

Mark as read

  • Opening a notification's button marks it as read.
  • Use ⋯ on an unread notification to Mark as read.
  • Mark all as read clears the red number in one go.
  • Maybe later on the Home card only takes it off Home. It stays in the bell.

Messages stay in the list until they no longer apply, for example once a payment is fixed. Read ones just lose their dot. Your read state follows you: if you mark something as read on your laptop, it's read on your phone too. Each person in your team has their own.

Payment problems stay until they're fixed

If a payment fails, the notice stays at the top of the bell and on Home until the payment goes through. Only the account owner sees it.

Who sees what

Owners also see notices meant for the account owner, like billing and the occasional request from our team. Team members only see suggestions they can act on.
