Add a Scanner

Add a scanner device

1. Go to Locations in the sidebar, then open the Scanners tab.

2. Click “Add new device”.

3. Enter a descriptive device name (e.g., "Front Desk iPad").

4. Choose card access: - All cards: can process every card - Specific cards: select the card(s) from the list

5. (Optional) Add labels for grouping and quick filters.

6. Click “Create scanner”.

Copy and store the API key

1. In the “New key” modal, click “Show key”, then “Copy”.

2. Store it securely — you will paste it into the app to sign in.
